Married with Children couldn't make it today

I read this already. But even without reading it, I think I could have listed off the reasons why Married With Children wouldn't be aired in today's PC world. Then again, other shows from the past, like All In The Family, never would have made it onto TV as well.
But I like to think of something I learned from a Married With Children special where one of the writers or creators said how early on in the show, they received a letter from a guy who wrote how he really liked the show because he didn't like his job, his family life was terrible, but he knew that no matter how bad he had it, that Al Bundy was just going to be a little worse that week.
