BMW M3 and M4

I guess the M4 is a bit of a marketing exercise. I would guess they decided they needed to make the M3 coupe more special, for some reason, so they gave it its very own model name. Which means the M3 is sedan only now.
Some highlights are that these are really light! 3,300 lbs for the M4 and 3,350 for the M3. These are going to be really fast with the new twin turbo inline 6 (replaces the old V8). Very stout output numbers with 452 hp and 406 lb-ft. That M4 is probably equivalent to a C7 Stingray, at least in terms of acceleration. It's also more expensive with a base price for the M4 of $65k. The light weight costs.
I also think turbo is the wrong choice for these cars but I guess I won't beat that dead horse.
