Take that, Subaru.These cars had a true full-time all-wheel-drive system, complete with limited-slip center differential that meant drivers didn't risk tearing up their tires (or worse) when powering all four wheels on dry pavement, so they were more like cars (tall, noisy, ugly, gas-sucking cars, granted, but still cars) than trucks. In places with lots of snow and mountains, they sold like crazy. You still see plenty of Eagles on Denver streets nowadays.
