The Cost of Commuting

I would interject a bit and suggest that I think I have a minimum commuting time that I want, and it's not zero. I also don't think I desire my commute to be sans car. 12 minutes may be ideal, for example. Enough to fully warm the car up, enough to play a few songs, hopefully long enough to get up to a speed that isn't like 27 mph.
