Pretty good deal here. This is similar to the XP10000E except this also does propane. Want to see how crazy of a sale this is?

So this is not really a cabin-grade unit, and I mean in terms of power capacity. This should, however, suit your backup power needs for your whole house. However, you already bought a 30A Reliance power inlet, and I think you need a 40A (and yet another different cable/connector) to get all of the power out of it.
Be sure to perform a very thorough unpacking inspection as soon as you possibly can. Like I said, like 95% of what is wrong with these, is either evident immediately after unpacking, or after running for a short amount of time.
Also recommended: Very short run-in times and frequent oil changes. Word is these Chinese engines like to make metal filings (or are left over from manufacture). If you get these out as fast as possible, engine longevity is very dramatically increased. I can look up what folks are recommending. After you get through the run-in period, you can relax to recommended maintenance (i.e. not forever).

There is a 30 Amp breakered outlet on it, so that will not require anything new. I already laid in the 10 gauge cable from the transfer panel to the power inlet (NEMA L14-30P inlet plug). I don't need the extra 10 Amps a this point, from the power survey of the house. Of course, Stacy would say different...
Concur on the initial maintenance. Hoping this is reliable. If it works well, i'll be looking at a 100 lb propane tank (or bigger) tank.

Fair enough on the breaker. 30A gives you access to about 7,200VA. On propane this probably isn't much different than what the unit is capable of continuously anyway. It also may be an advantage because the breaker will trip before overloading the generator, which is a good thing, and not a form of protection that the 40A outlet would provide.
