I mean a Hellcat Charger offers more space and similar 1/4 mile performance for less money, to be fair. Doesn't compare for luxury or handling though.
Dare I say that is actually a bargain when looking at other new cars? I think this is the cheapest thing this size, that can go 210 mph with a warranty. Correct me if I am wrong...The “basic” package gets you the HPE750, which is actually good for 757 hp and 782 lb-ft of torque. This gets us thinking, if automakers keep upping the factory power on their cars, there’s really no reason Hennessey and the boys can’t push it even further. Could a 1,500-hp tuned American V8 be too far off? We doubt it. The HPE750 sprints to 60 in just 3.2 seconds, near the limit for two-wheel drive cars, while the 0-150 mph sprint takes just 15.4 seconds. That’s down from 17.8 in the stock car. The quarter mile passes in 11.2 seconds and top speed is rated at a blistering 210 mph. All that speed will set you back $14,950, on top of the price of the CTS-V, which is about $84,000.
Lest you think that once you buy this car you’re on your own, Hennessey has a three-year, 36,000-mile warranty.
