I am told I need front brakes on the Corolla, rear brakes on the RAV, and I bet I need something for the 3. 103K on the rear disks. What is the easiest way to tell that you need brakes before your car doesn't stop?

Hard to get away with not checking the inner pad. If the rotors are not heavily scored and don't feel warped I would not replace them.
