The video isn't that useful as a review (especially one comparing it to its peers and competition at the time), but if you want 30 minutes of footage on a very well maintained 88 SPG, this'll do nicely.
If this car had a problem, I would say that was the luxury car pricing. But other than decent leather on the seats, there really wasn't anything luxurious about these (again, the seats look really nice). They also weren't for all out performance. You had to appreciate the quirks and the car being well-rounded as an automobile, I think (and then pay a premium for that). And at the time, most Americans certainly weren't looking for a very expensive hatchback.
That said, it looks like a pretty efficient use of space and weight. Pretty impressive cargo space.
