Suburban Ls - $1600 (North dighton)
2003 Chevrolet Suburban
Perfect running non rusty truck. Don't miss out. 2003 Chevy Suburban Ls. Body 280k. Drivetrain with receipts was replaced at 260k with a motor and transmission with 134k. It's runs and drives perfect. Motor is quiet. It has the 5.3 v8. Transmission shifts perfect. 4 wheel drive works perfectly. Power windows and locks. Bose stereo. Tow package. Keyless entry. Cold ac. Hot heat. No major rust or rot. Rockers are solid and the quarters. Frame is clean. Brakes and suspension are good. No check engine light. Does have a abs light on. Ready to drive. Lots of life left. Needs a cleaning. Has a dent in drivers door. That can easily be pushed out. Overall a solid truck. Mechanic gave it a green light. 1600 firm. No offers or trades. Solid daily family transportation. I thought LS was a low trim level but it has Bose, auto headlights, auto 4WD, foglights and stuff like that. ABS light...Harbor Freight now conveniently sells scantools that can talk ABS so diagnosing these systems is less difficult for the DIY than it used to be.
I actually really like this and it could be a good buy. I was thinking about this. I know that I insist on having a cap on my pickup trucks...if I never need to remove the cap, could I not just have a Suburban? It's not the same thing of course. I have to remove seats to have more space, and I have zero option of removing the cap and hauling something tall. And depending on the load, I may not want to be in the same space as the cargo but at least I could legit use this as a backup family hauler. Plus 4WD is something.
I would prefer leather and heated seats but at these miles, you don't want GM truck leather...at least not the driver's seat.
Anyway, this is pretty much an ideal low budget candidate for the DIY type. Seems clean, and the engine/trans replacement should mean no powertrain worries.
I feel like I've seen this vehicle before, so maybe someone used that Mass law to return it because it didn't pass inspection or whatever.
