I've been harping on this for a while now. And the evidence keeps piling up.Gees, Ford has thrown almost everything possible at this F-150, DOHC, downsized engines with dual turbocharges, combo port and direct fuel injection, an aluminum body, a friggin' ten speed transmission, but they still can't beat a simple truck with a big displacement small-block V8 from GM. It's just embarrassing now at this point. They need to just give up and go back to what works.
Not even surprised chevy can beat fords "fuel efficient" v6 with an engine almost double the liters and 2 more cylinders. Maybe ford can learn from chevy and listen to populous and quit shoving a v6 down our throats when we don't want one.
