Wonder if there is any fact to this. Also wonder if I should be buying GM stock.
Kevin actually tried a GM/Tesla merger 57 times on Monday...

Interesting. Some of this came up on the drive though not the idea of a merger.

I wonder if this is an investment opportunity...
It could go well:
If Tesla can keep the name and a perception of distance from GM, GM can actually mass produce quality Teslas that won't fall apart.
It could go bad if:
Tesla is referred to as Government Tesla and they lose all the crunchies that love the Tesla for being anti establishment and green. It is the old question. Could the Tesla concept (All electric, but more expensive than a gasoline car) work if it's parent company was an established company, meaning losing the underdog status.
