Deck restaining

Changed the oil in my pressure washer for the first time (used M1 10W-30 that I had lying around). Used my 15" floor cleaner and it did a nice job.
I am now 99% sure this is stain, not paint. It does not chip or scratch off with my fingernail. So I will definitely use stain this time, a colored/solid stain.
This is all I have for before shots. I had lightly power washed this in the spring so some of the stain was already removed. And after a thorough wash. I think it was Frank who suggested spraying it on (like from a hand pumped pressure sprayer) and spread with a brusher or roller. I think the spindles and rails will actually be more annoying to do than the decking. I have settled on either a Bear Premium stain or PPG Timeless stain. I need to do the math on the square footage and coverage.
