Oh man. Can't wait to see how this blows up.

Funny thing...I scrolled down a whopping 5 comments and this is exactly what I was thinking before I even saw this comment.
I don't care if I get hate for this. The left has been brainwashing people into hating the rich and successful people for years now, and things like this are what happens. They teach them that the guy in Ferrari must have gotten it by taking away something from you.
This is factually incorrect, especially with fiat currency. It is technically impossible for this to be true, but this is a distinct and consistent message from the left. Definitely the Bernie Sanders left. But honestly even the Hilary Clinton left, even though they also believe in big business (I don't actually understand what her economic platform is but I digress). It is incorrect, and I think that's exactly what the psychology of this situation was. If not this one, then another one. It's a problem. If this turns out to be a hoax (I don't think so) will I feel stupid for posting this? No. I will find 10x more evidence that isn't a hoax.

Not a hoax. It was exactly what it looked like.

I think it's pretty bullshit that the guy played dead, too.

For the record, politics are all over this. Because they are the cause of this.
I blame the liberal mentality for brainwashing people into thinking that people who have money don't deserve it.
So we see dumbasses like that guy damaging the car.

The liberal metality is about supporting the poor, not punishing the rich. But everyone has their own perspective.
Thomas: Some liberals have been pushing this narrative for awhile that the rich aren't paying their fair share and that the rich people are the reason they are poor, which is causing poorer people to demonize the rich and blame them for their own problems. While you may not agree with that, that mentality is rather common among the liberals that I know.
Wow.
Honestly Rob, I'm kind of irritated that you seemed so dismissive to the video because it is low production quality. I watched the video and there is a pretty strong message from the guy that I really think is worth people hearing. He grew up poor, made a lot of bad choices, turned his life around , and now he spends his time volunteering and donating to help others.

It's a great story to show that this narrative of rich people being bad is stupid.
If this story was the opposite, it would have been picked up by the mainstream media. But it confirms stereotypes so you can't go and report on it, you know. It's the rules.

Mr. Short Attention Span really kinda missed the point of the video he's referencing. Nobody cares about the fact that the owner doesn't know some details about his car. Yes the video is long, but the story is worth hearing. He literally came from *nothing*, been in an out of jail/prison, had substance abuse problems.. etc.., but now works for every dime he makes, and has spent the last 20 years of his life doing everything he can to make amends and to help people like the guy who ran over his car. He's not a "rich guy" and the video of someone running over his car doesn't prove that "being rich sucks". It proves that people suck, and you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. The owner has always been a Lamborghini enthusiast (first one was a Countach), and this car represents proof to himself and to those people he tries to help that you can literally turn your life around and go from nothing to something.
Literally every piece of this story is like kryptonite to the liberal media.
