Autobahn footage.

This moves the needle like a damn sport bike. I guess that makes sense when you are in the 130 mph trap club.
Look at when he starts from a stop on the entrance ramp. Somehow you can put all the power down in this car. I guess tall gearing helps.
Remember, they made this car one year before the Gen 5 Camaro was even released.

Scouring for bottom of market. I've seen better. Here's one.

2012, 17k, $50k. When these start to hit under $40k, that is going to be very interesting indeed. I thought they already were. I will try another source.

1.07g, 23.4s figure 8. 60-0 in 99 feet. Those are some numbers for 2009.

ZR1 was easier to control around the track than the 911 Turbo. Imagine that. Justin Bell at the wheel.
Damn. Nearly 4 seconds faster than the 911 Turbo on a short track. That is an eternity.
177 mph standing mile. 911 Turbo....broke. Ha

Damn the ZR1 is only 3,3xx lbs. No wonder why it is so fast.

I was thinking more about the C6 ZR1. I remember hearing this somewhere and didn't bother looking into it until now. Brakes. They are carbon ceramic.
What do replacement rotors cost?
Well, RockAuto only lists a front rotor and their quantity remaining is 1. ONE. How much? $1,146. What about the rears? I didn't do exhaustive research to find a better price and likely could knock a few hundred off, but these guys have the rear rotors for $1,400. Each.
How about pads? RockAuto does have those. Front pads are $351. Rear pads are $437. Not as bad. Not sure how often any of that needs to be replaced but this is a thing.
Also the bottom of the market is about $50k which is the same as it was like....I dunno, 3 or 4 years ago? Seems like they depreciated heavily but are now being supported just by sheer value - what you get can't be duplicated for less than $50k I think.

Wow, that's like a Ferrari-level brake job price. Although, I guess it does offer Ferrari level performance.

I would bet they are the cheapest Carbon Ceramic brakes available on any car like that.

Cheapest on autotrader.

Love the color. But wait, it's modded. And it is still over $50k. In fact asking $52,500 with almost 45k.
750whp Cammed Zr1. Cyber Grey Color, Lots of nice upgrades. Flex fuel can run E85 or 93. Sw Headers, Lingenfelter snout, Upper and Lower Pulley, Midpipe, injectors, Cam, Mild to wild switch,. This car sounds amazing and is very fast!
What kind of asshole drives a C6 ZR1 and is like, this is good, but I need more cowbell? If you can get a launch this must be scratching at low 10s. Maybe 10.0? Maybe a 9.x on DRs? Now the price seems quite fair...
