Maybe this is why I'd rather have 6 kind of cheap cars than like 2 expensive cars. My expectation of the expensive cars would be unrealistic for the actual enjoyment they would provide. Meanwhile, it's hard not to be happy with an $1800 Roadmaster. It doesn't have to do a whole lot to be worth $1800, and be satisfying in that way.You get older, I don't really have dream cars anymore. There's a lot of cars I like...you realize the magic is kind of gone. The reality of owning them is not as exciting as it seems. The idea of owning certain cars is more exciting than the ownership experience is. You'll see a lot of people who go through a lot of cars. They start recycling, going through cars, because they can't find the magic anymore.
