Still worth pointing out that this isn't worlds faster than the 09 ZR1 though it will be a much better overall performance car (and it IS faster).

That 720S comment is key. That is the target to shoot for. I don't think they'll pull it off until the mid-engine C8 or whatever but this is a great halfway point. And not a bad way for the front engine/rear drive Corvette to go out.It also makes the ZR1 as quick as the last base-model all-wheel drive Lamborghini Huracan we tested, and it's not far off the crazy-quick McLaren 720S.
