I suspect this will have similar characteristics as the V6 diesel in the Ram. With the big weight loss this could hit similar EPA numbers as that Ram, too. Though I don't see how it could be rated at 28mpg highway. We'll see.

I think the diesel Ram is likely to achieve better real world numbers. Ford's ecoboost line has done nothing but disappoint pretty much across the line. I will say I have enjoyed some of their engines in rentals I have had, but the economy was disappointing.

Yeah I think that's pretty likely. It'll get in the ballpark for EPA but not real world.
