NYT fails at describing how Tesla autonomous driving works

That's pretty bad. Thanks, mainstream media organization (for nothing).

This article will accomplish, in my very jaded view, two things:
- A possible bump to TSLA
- More deaths from people over-relying on the system due to misunderstandings perpetrated by articles just like this

Media is a great check and balance in our society (in theory) but when its success is tied to its overall popularity (and, for example, click-baity headlines) then I think our system is failing to work as intended. Judging things by their popularity was cool in, like middle school and high school. Of course you could say the same about our political system. Yay.
