Thanks to Streetspeed717 for being straight up with us.

Some channel owners chime in with their earnings. I think Youtube discourages this but I guess if he doesn't get penalized then whatever.

He says $7,000 per 1,000,000 views is a good rule of thumb. He also shows us that Socialblade is way off on its estimates. He's making almost twice as much as the high estimate there. So that's something. He's making about $35k/mo.

Vehicle Virgins. 12M views past month. So $84k/mo for Parker. Give or take. That is $1M/year.

Cleetus McFarland, one of my favorite guys actually.

8.3M views, last 30 days. So $56k/mo give or take. Mike thinks closer to $70 or 80k per month.

Doug DeMuro. 28M views last 30 days.

Or $196k/mo by Mike's standard. He thinks less, but at least above $100k. Easily $1.2M/year. Maybe $1.8M.

No wonder why he is so concerned about not reviewing older cars or whatever. These guys live in the analytics.

Tavarish. Another favorite because he's a real DIY guy.

4M views/mo. That'd be about $28k/mo. Nothing to sneeze at there, either.

Mike also reminds us that there are other revenue streams, like merchandise. There is also Patreon.

The comments are good.
I don't always show my monthly earnings, but when I do I stand next to my $400k McLaren
Blowing his annual salary on a car is still crazy but maybe it is leased, and obviously he sells them when they are still worth most of what he paid. And he probably writes off the purchase and then writes off the loss on the sale.
