Thought I could further derail these conversations with a discussion of the DIY'ers closely related cousins.. the Makers.

Heck, the same person could probably be put into either group. Turns out there was a Maker Faire in Providence back in August. I propose that a group of us go to the next one.. If there is one.

Looking at their FAQ's, it turns out that they have beer. Do we have that?

Yeah that's a step up from just repairing broken stuff. They're creating things from scratch.
