He hasn't met a Mustang he doesn't like? I guess Ford people are pretty obvious about their bias.
Anyway, here's a 7.3 going into a Foxbody.

Right in the video they address people putting LS engines in Mustangs.

I do think this engine is going to be pretty popular with the Ford crowd. It won't be cheaper than going LS based for quite some time though. Or probably ever. But they're going to make a lot of these with the 10 speed autos (3/4 ton trucks and heavier, maybe into the F450/550). That would probably make a good swap (if it fits) into a Panther.

I don't dig the flaccid penis long throttle body. That just looks odd. Easy part to swap once the aftermarket starts covering this platform.

Tear down, dyno results, comparison to Coyote and 351W.

Need to see a side by side compared to GM's new 6.6L though...the 7.3L is probably bigger.

So apparently Ford fanboys are really annoying....
Ford guys are in a league of their own. I didn't see anyone tearing into Chevy's new 6.6 as soon as it left the showroom. (Maybe I missed it, don't pay much attention to Chevy)
There's a good response though.
@Fordfanone That's because it's not a big deal when Chevy comes out with a new engine that's a good one. This is a new thing for Ford, especially since it's a pushrod motor.
lol. It's true.

Since Sloppy Mechanics has been leaning heavily on the new Holly computer stuff, it occurs to me that there is no reason he might end up playing with one of these at some point. Not sure when they'll fall to his budget though. I think it'll be a few years yet.

That saw cut between the cylinders is....weird. Looks pretty thin.
