Not including a concrete slab to put it on. But it's a steel building, which is interesting. 600 sq ft is pretty decent.

And my current single attached garage is 13x22 so that is no improvement at all, unless I just wanted another structure for parking.

Are you looking to put one of these on your current property? Purely for aesthetics, I like the wood structure. The metal buildings just seem like they should be paired with trailers in rural South Carolina. It's hard to argue with the $$$/square foot though.

When I was looking at houses, I considered many that lacked garages. I was prepared to spend $25-30k to build a standard 2 car garage that wouldn't give the HOA board members a heart attack. Spending less than $10k for something considerably larger seems like a pretty good deal.

For not much more, you can get the 12' tall one. This might be tall enough for a lift? You should also get the concrete poured thick enough for a nice two post.

I agree that wood would look nicer, and have more character. But again, tough to argue the price, unless pouring conrete is expensive?

If you combine this with finishing the basement and adding a master bath, your house would meet all the current requirements.

And your fleet of cars wouldn't have to be hidden like you were ashamed of them during some "house showing process."

I kind of think that these look fairly good... I am not a huge fan of the rounded roof types but they have some that look just like a regular shed/garage, with color. Everyone is different, but I would have loved to have something like this already at my house. Another plus is no maintenance. I want to work in the garage, not on the garage. All of this is strictly personal opinion.
