Like the ECM one I don't know if this is tech or cars.

Not ready for primetime but I wonder what is holding it up? I could speculate:
1) Cost
2) Finish (perhaps it doesn't look shiny like regular clear coat)
3) Manufacturability (with implications on #1 and #2)
