I can't bring myself to read this but this car is fairly significant for MB. It's also only 3,2xx lbs, starts at only $30k and offers a lot more style inside and out than the A3.
AW also described some turbo lag despite 258 lb-ft @ 1,250 rpm.
Plus the dual clutch transmission isn't perfectly calibrated so the driving experience is less refined than it could be (the engine actually had NVH at idle).
Audi's execution of this same powertrain design is far superior, so it can be done right, and it's obvious the VW group has a lot more experience with it than MB does.

Seriously? So they're saying the lag makes it not matter that the engine SHUTS OFF at lights? Oh god...may as well just leave the stop/start enabled
