Since I was scolded by Matt today, I'll ask the question here- do you ever think that in the history of microwaving popcorn, that there has ever been a "perfect pop". By this I mean, has anyone microwaved a bag of popcorn and popped every single kernel and without burning any of the already popped popcorn? I pose this question to all 9 of you that are currently registered users on this message board (not including myself).

I have never seen one. It is probably mathematically possible. I don't like statistics enough to make the calculation, though.

That's probably a 3-4 sigma bag of popcorn. Also not sure if microwaves are capable of doing it.

I am a popcorn purist and often use the stir crazy popcorn popper to create my perfect pop. Popcorn + oil + salt = perfection.
