Ok, so as most of you know, I recently had the following work done to my car- replaced 2 bad fuel injectors, replaced 2 coils (cylinder 5 and 6), new spark plugs, an intake gasket, and a new PCV (I might have written this one down wrong) valve. Now, my question/comment is this- driving back from NY to RI, I happened to notice that my gas mileage vastly improved on tonight's drive. Just curious from you guys if this is a result of the new parts that are in my car and if this is something (that if I knew) I should have and could have expected?

I would be inclined to attribute it to the new spark plugs. PCV is correct.
You may have also benefitted from a new intake gasket (upper intake has to come off to do the rear injectors, #6).
It has to run noticably smoother, right?

It probably feels faster when you hammer on it too, I imagine.

My bad, #5 is the rear one.

You can see how the rear injectors are under the upper intake...
