Detroit Diesel 4-53T into an 84 Chevy truck

Notice that even though this is a 4 cylinder engine of modest displacement (212 cid) it is still mammoth. It needs all the under hood height available. And there isn't even room for a mechanical fan!

Great sound! 2800rpm on a Detroit sounds like 5600 (hence the nickname screamin' jimmy).
Ah, this video confirms a 3" suspension lift PLUS a 3" body lift. This truck is...cool, but the actual utility of all that work is questionable.
