It is mostly about a drag racing bracket that outsiders try to get into, and the bracket also challenges/defends the title of fastest street cars in the country against other areas.

There are some funny Segway's like a random destruction derby, and various street races against unsuspecting people on the road.

Warning: There are lame fights and they act like they are doing this all as illegal racing, but I am pretty sure it is done at an abandoned airport/closed course. Kind of too bad, because I would watch the show if it just said that they raced at the airport.

It is just fun to watch a show about cars, and drag racing on an unprofessional level. Plus the show always has pretty cool cars. Challenging other areas showcases more than just the 10 car in their bracket also so it adds some variety.
