That bulb is water cooled. I need to see it hooked up.

So that 10 second kettle is 3kW. One of the advantages of 240V European power.

A commenter made a great point: It is dangerous because the glass could explode AND it would spray hot water everywhere. Awesome. Ironically, none of the risk is from electrocution. Which is why this whole experiment is the best.
