When I brought the CTS-V home after inspection, the sunroof would not close from the tilt position I had it in. It did not respond at all to any switch position. Key off, key on, no change.
I did a bit of research and there is a sunroof reset procedure not totally unlike the auto up power windows. Basically you press the knob straight up (didn't know that was a thing) and hold it for 10 seconds. After that, it worked fine.
The only thing I can think of is when I did the aux in I ran the battery down pretty far (interior lights on a lot, music for a while, and it had been sitting for a while before that with no charger). I think the low voltage confused it and it lost its calibration or whatever. Anyway, fixed.
CTS-V sunroof inop?
