They have a workaround for Firefox. Stay tuned for one for Chrome. No one except Kevin uses IE/Edge so it isn't an issue.
After about ~10 min of uptime, Firefox is wining the "most data written" award with > 100 MB written. Second place is some MS Outlook background process with less than half that (probably retrieving all my email for the day). This could be more of an issue if I left my desktop on all the time, but I don't.
This has probably been going on for a while, my lifetime writes are much closer to my lifetime reads than they should be.
Use Process Explorer to see per-process writes:

I expect the browser vendors to change the implementation of their recovery features in the next few months.

I've updated the default of 15 seconds to 10 minutes. I will re-evaluate the impact.

Your toolbox is out of date.
Here's mine from my Dell desktop, which is in standby a lot of the time: I don't really know what this means.
Intel toolbox says it is healthy though.

Re: Your web browser is ruining your SSD
NAND cells are good for a range of writes per cell typically in the 1000s of writes per cell. The drives also have more NAND than their advertised capacity to aid in wear levelling and bad block swap-out. You've written ~100 times the capacity of your drive to your drive. That works out somewhere less than 100 writes per cell on average (over capacity and such). Since your cells should be good for many thousands of writes per cell, you are fine.
I'm going to go update my toolbox now...

Turns out your toolbox is also out of date.
