Scientists accidentally discover an efficient method of converting CO2 to Ethenol. Its all good news: high yield material, reaction at room temperature, high yield output (in lab conditions).

Also, scalable to large production levels, and "green". I don't see any drawbacks actually. It is almost like recycling emissions into fuel, all done with readily available materials. Seems like a reasonable thing to adopt if it lets us keep our V8s. Plus energy independence...
