US Auto Bailout accounting

That is exactly what I was talking about. If the bailout didn't happen, car engineering wouldn't happen in the US anymore. Companies might still build here like Toyota, but the American brain trust of auto engineering would have been mostly gone. That is mostly why I supported the auto bailout. I was not really a fan of the bank bailout because they caused most of the problem, and there were articles where the banks said they didn't even need the bailout money, but took it anyway.
