Given that both the mint RMS and Lacrosse Super are going to be somewhat difficult to find, it might make sense to be flexible about which one to buy first. Also, mint Roadmasters are probably appreciating at this point, whereas the Lacrosse Supers are still depreciating. Both paths have the same step 1: get rid of Ranger.

Yeah that is true. I wouldn't pass up a good Roadmaster if I found the one I really like. Which is:
- Limited sedan
- so leather and all that stuff
- interior like-new
- good paint, a few flaws are tolerable but not many
- flexible on colors
- I don't know if I have a real year preference....94-96 anyway.
- No rust. I may as well just plan to shop around the Charlotte area because Bob can scope out the car for me. Unless it gets sold first.

I am not expecting this for $1200. I'd be willing to spend at least $3k for this and potentially more if the condition or miles warranted.

Getting the Super first also helps delay the inevitable with the Caprice.

I wonder if I am off the 750iL if I get a Super. They are not, at all, the same. However, the Super has decent luxury crap that I like (though nothing like rear reclining seats, extended wheelbase, a V12 or even RWD - it doesn't even have nav), and honestly the performance is basically the same.

Also the Super is like the ultimate evolution of the car I learned to drive on: 1990 Continental.

Oh look at that. Does Bryan know Country Club learned to drive on a Lincoln? Lol. Just kidding.

Oh yes, a 140hp, FWD, Taurus-based, head-gasket-blowing, quality-lacking beast.

That's what I was thinking. It's probably a bit rougher that what you want though.

Not sure if leather or Limited. I think negative on the Limited. No landau is a plus. Also not a fan of the wheel covers which don't quite seem stock, especially without white walls.

You'd have a hard time finding a nicer Roadmaster in New England I bet.
