GM owned it. With 3.73 gears. The internet is like "but the Powerstroke has more torque!". Sigh. This was a horsepower test and the Chevy had more of it. It also had exceptional downhill speed control.

I forgot to mention: I do take exception that they score based on computer-reported MPG. Wouldn't be surprised if GM was more honest than the Ram here. I have no real data on how accurate Ford is, but I bet more accurate than Ram. I think Chrysler has a history of being optimistic here, based on talking to at least one person over the years who was a Chrysler person. Plus my Ram seems way off, on the optimistic side.

I did. I maintain the Duramax would have won if it was sea level. I think Ford just pushes the turbos a little harder at altitude.

There is a whole conversation about tow capacity. GM was happy with ~23,000 or whatever, citing the main part of the market and going after full capability within that rating. Meanwhile I think Ford and Ram are playing spec games with their ridiculous 30,000 numbers. Normal people don't tow 30,000 lbs. Contractors don't tow 30,000 lbs with 1 ton trucks. You typically need a CDL for over 26,000. I think GM is playing it right, though it is still battling the fact that guys buying a loaded up 1-ton probably do derive some value knowing it could tow 30,000 when they'll never do more than 15,000.
GM does get some license with their strategy as it handled the downhill segment, at max weight, better than the Ford or Ram which were not at max weight. And it was faster at max weight up the hill than Ford or Ram, at max weight. So I don't think they are just making excuses - I think they are right on.

Tow mileage test. They towed at max weight for the Chevy. The Chevy has the tallest axle ratio.

Each truck has gotten very close to the actual with the trip computer. So that's good. Final tally:
Ram: 6.6 mpg
Silverado: 6.4 mpg
Ford: 5.7 mpg
Chevy has the most power and second highest torque. Ford was supposed to be "light" due to aluminum but as I have rightly claimed before, it hasn't actually amounted to an advantage. Just more expensive sheet metal.
