That's right, better MPG than the Ford Ecoboost. Which should not be surprising if you understand turbos. Some very snarky comments.

Gees, Ford has thrown almost everything possible at this F-150, DOHC, downsized engines with dual turbocharges, combo port and direct fuel injection, an aluminum body, a friggin' ten speed transmission, but they still can't beat a simple truck with a big displacement small-block V8 from GM. It's just embarrassing now at this point. They need to just give up and go back to what works.

I've been harping on this for a while now. And the evidence keeps piling up.

Not even surprised chevy can beat fords "fuel efficient" v6 with an engine almost double the liters and 2 more cylinders. Maybe ford can learn from chevy and listen to populous and quit shoving a v6 down our throats when we don't want one.

On this same tow test, they also got these other results per the video:
2017 Silverado 6.2: 10.6 mpg
2017 F150 Ecoboost: 9.1 mpg
Nissan Titan: 8.6 mpg (I think)
Ram Ecodiesel: 13.3 mpg

This is perfect except for the idea that there is something that they could go back to that worked...LOL

I know Ford always enjoyed great sales numbers of the F-150, I just never thought they deserved it.
