This is so awesome. It looks bone stock.
He had it turned down to 7psi until the owner can beef up the rear and it is still a complete animal.
He does amazing work if you have the money.
Nelson Racing Engines: 1700hp 1990 C4
Re: Nelson Racing Engines: 1700hp 1990 C4
And I just have to say...I know Bill looks at these cars and is like, I'd much rather have a Camaro of the same year. But look how much cooler the C4 really is when you get up close. Reverse open hood, exposed wheels. And look at the suspension! The Camaro had nothing like that. Just crappy struts and a solid rear axle. I would bet the chassis was way stiffer on the C4, as well.
The C4, unlike the C5, actually had pretty high bolstered seats, too.

I admit, I like this gen more than most. This is a pretty impressive build.
Re: Nelson Racing Engines: 1700hp 1990 C4
I know this sounds cool, but in reality, The hood probably makes it really annoying to work on, and I can't imagine having open wheels is good for under the hood as far as dirt and whatever else in on the road getting sprayed in there... Chassis/suspension wise I am sure it is better than the Camaro.plus a weight-saving aluminum hood.
Since these are worthless now, we could add one to our Turo rental lot.
