The Gen 6 is a much better car IMO, but maybe the Gen 5 is similar looking enough that most people don't really perceive a big difference.

Performance wise, there is no question. Of the Gen 5s, I like the 2013 the best. Updated radio/backup camera etc. interior, and better suspension than the 2010s, and before the "refresh" that bridges it to the Gen 6. I am not a fan of the narrowed front grill and rectangle tail lights. I like the Gen 6... A lot. Performance wise it is very impressive, and lighter etc. If the Gen 6 is the same price as the Gen 5, Gen 6 all the way. I do really like the 2013 though, looks wise. It is in my opinion more aggressive and "muscle" than the Gen 6 which to me is sleeker and more "sports" car.

I think that has impacted gen 6 sales.

I would like to try a gen 5 1LE. Other than that I don't really care for any gen 5 models really. I'd enjoy a ZL1 but I'd most definitely buy something else in that price range. It's not like I'd prefer the Dodge or Ford offerings in the class, either.
