I kind of wish that getting a car right now for $20k then turning around and getting a Vsport in a year or two would be acceptable to my wife. To be honest, I would feel a lot more comfortable buying an SS with over 100k than a Vsport.

The $20k SS is now at a different Dallas dealer for $25k.

2014 Vsport Premium with 61k miles for $28k + no doc fees at a dealer in Knoxville. Looks pretty clean. This is getting closer to my target.

I don't have the hard data but I'd argue it is because there are more miles on the inventory that is available. A year ago that car with 61k would be a different car with 31k for another $5k of asking price.

Here's a lower mileage Vsport Premium. 35k on it for $30,888.

In general, I am seeing more price reductions and longer days on hand lately, which are both positive signs for a buyer.

I am dealing with someone at home who is solely focused on purchase price. Because of this, I am okay with a higher mileage car as long as the condition is good and I can get the Premium package.

Also, that tan interior is ugly. I think I either want black or the Kona leather (Kona preferred).

2014 non-Premium, 40k miles, $27,253. After looking at the instrument cluster, I just can't bring myself to buy a non-Premium. It looks like something out of a 90s Buick.

Well the pic makes it look even worse because the perspective makes it seem like it is just a big speedometer. The next pic shows the other guages where it looks less 90s.

It's not any better in person. Premium is the way to go, almost for the cluster alone.
