What are the stats on the LT1 again? Is it a direct bolt up to any older SBC cars?

Also to put things into perspective, be very glad the cars you like in the condition you saw yesterday can be bought for $2,500...

And that is for the ugly Aerocoupe...

LT1 refresher:
The 1992 LT1 in the Y-body was factory rated at 300 hp (220 kW) and 330 lb·ft (447 N·m). 96 LT1 Y-bodies were rated at 300 hp (220 kW) and 340 lb·ft (461 N·m). The 93–95 F-bodies were rated at 275 horsepower (205 kW) and 325 lb·ft (441 N·m), while the 96–97 cars were rated at 285 horsepower (213 kW) and 335 lb·ft (454 N·m). The 96–97 WS6 and SS F-bodies were rated at 305 hp (227 kW). The 94–96 B and D-body version was rated at 260 horsepower (190 kW) and 330 lb·ft (447 N·m).

That Roadmaster should run a low 15 @ 91 or so as it sits, on 87 octane. More is easily unlocked.

Fastest 6 seater sedan in the test. By a lot.

15.0 @ 93 with 4,244 lbs.
Of this roster, the Roadmaster is the king of the power hill. With a Corvette-derived 5.7-liter LT1 V-8 throbbing under the hood, the Roadmaster accelerates with an enthusiasm that’s surprising for a large 4244-pound hulk of a vehicle. Its 260 horsepower is by far the most of the group, yet it’s the muscular 330 pound-feet of torque (70 more than the next closest competitor) that really works wonders. Angle down on the accelerator pedal and there’s no waiting for the smooth, even surge forward. This feeling was confirmed at the test track, where the Buick posted a tire-burning 6.7-second 0-60 mph run. That’s over a second quicker than the next fastest six-seater, and dead-even with the fiery Mustang GT. With the optional trailer towing package, the Buick boasts a hefty 5000-pound towing capacity. Amazingly, fuel economy (17/25 city/highway mpg) is only a little behind the group’s best of 20/28 mpg for the Toyota.

- Windshield washer fluid pump dead and he says he's done quite a few. I think once he went to the AZ replacements the life was short
- Needs a new driver's seat buckle. The spring thing inside broke and the belt won't latch. He uses the middle seat buckle which seems to work fine. I'd hope this would be a junkyard part or maybe other sources? Not a big deal to change (big Torx bolt and an electrical plug)
- He said he has on rare occasion received a CE light for the MAF. It will probably need a MAF someday but this is hardly a big deal. Ed's needed a MAF, too. It drove very well for me.
Your OneDrive link isn't loading on Firefox on Fedora.

I have the following from my Caprice:
- Winshield washer bottle and pump
- All the seatbelts and buckles

Myself/Ed has a bunch of those pushpins somewhere. I have a spare door panel from my FW which you might be able to scavenge parts from if the panel is broken.

I have a spare MAF, but it is a "failed" one from Ed since the one from the Caprice is on the RMW.

I had to turn off my Ad-blocker to get it to load.

The rust isn't terrible and could definitely be managed in its current state.

You might find a better rust example from down south, but it would be hard to match the paint/interior/mechanical shape of this one for the price.

Those looks like factory catalytic converters.

New P/S line. Probably needs a combination of: oil cooler lines/oil filter adaptor seal/water pump drive seal/opti drive seal, but looks much better than my Fleetwood did from the oil leak standpoint (it needed all of those things).

I have:

http://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-black- ... -rust.html
http://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-origin ... paint.html

POR 15 may or may not work better, but the spray cans are definitely easier to apply.

I also recently bought:

I don't know how well the above works as I haven't used it yet.
