reposting the link because I had to go back almost 10 pages to find it:

Any decisions?

I can't make up my mind. I guess I could make my $2k firm offer and see where that leads. I dunno. I wish I took a pic of my Caprice's radiator support. I swear it seemed cleaner than this RMS.

You could probably swap them if that is the case, even if it is a small weld job. I am pretty sure everything else in the Roadmaster is better than the Caprice. LOL

I have not responded to his last message. I just got this.
Kevin,
$2000! Pick it up on your way home!

Does this mean I can offer even less than $2k now?

I guess I can ask the age old sleazy car dealer question: "what'll it take for you to take this home today?"

Bob,

Not going to lie - we are rapidly entering the "I can't afford not to buy this car zone."

Still juggling many things, like plans for my Caprice, having 6 cars on my property (happily a first world problem), balancing my car habit with work/family commitments, etc.

I will tell you what: $1750 and we have a deal.

This is killing me but I know you will appreciate this car. $1875, pick it up on the way home...I will follow you, sign my clear title over to you and take the plates off at your house. Cash works best...Bob
I should have offered $1500 to get to my $1750. Well...I could hold firm at $1750 if only to annoy some people on this forum.

I would say busting balls for less than $1875 is pretty ridiculous.

I am talking to a couple other people too. The low price has brought them out of the wood work but no deals yet. What is your best proposal to purchase the car? Call me if you like...Bob
I told him I could do the $1875, in response to this. We'll see what happens.
