DIY removing ethanol from gasoline

Simple. And not really necessary IMO. Especially since you have to add octane back to the fuel. Maybe E0 with Stabil would last like....5 years in a sealed storage container? I dunno.

Adding octane booster is useless. It only boosts the octane rating by a few tenths of a point. Buy premium gas instead. Removing the ethanol will drop the octane by 3 points. If you use regular, the resulting gasoline will only be 84 octane. With premium you will get anywhere from 88 to 90 octane.

Toluene, xylene, isopropyl, methanol, they'll all boost the octane. You can probably find high quality toluene for cheap at the hardware store.

The pour-off is actually a nasty binary azeotrope... Not good stuff.
Sounds delicious.

Cool. Razee sells it. Which makes sense for temperamental carbureted motorcycles. Still never had a problem with it in any of my engines, including small engines.
