The story is pretty interesting. Apparently there is a thing where people looking locally at auction cars will deliberately sabotage them to get the price lower and get a better deal for themselves. That is pretty disappointing. All that will happen is the buyers will have less physical access to the vehicles before buying and ruin auctions for everyone.
