They were able to give the LiveWire some sound, almost like a drill on steroids. I guess they have a failed experience with a different brand name for a fundamentally different type of motorcycle in Buell, so they may want to try to leverage the Harley name this time.

Yeah they need to come through the marketing. Things can have different spin.
In the 80's and 90's turbo cars were enthusiast/performance cars. Now the same exact thing is ecoboost. It is funny how something designed to allow you to burn more gas by making more air available for more combustion can be spun to "eco".
If Harley can figure out how to associate electrification with performance vice going green, it might more relate to their brand. So the question is: "How can battery powered bikes be badass?"

Their brand was never about performance. It was about character. EV can do everything except that.
