In fact this is likely the cheapest Vsport Premium with under 100k, probably ever sold. There is a lesson for Bill in here - you CAN buy the cheapest and you CAN negotiate without first looking at it. Of course, I should wait to declare victory until after Bob drives home with it.
Just to amplify that. Cadillac made 1,661 2014 Vsport Premiums. This is one of them.

How many 2013 Camaro SS 1LEs did GM make? 1,826. You can be patient, or you can buy something sooner. But you can't say "I'll never find one."

I'll call you when I'm sitting on the side of I-95 in Brunswick, GA as the sun is going down....

I would say being geographically flexible helps a lot. I was willing to go anywhere that was within 1-2 days of driving.

One way flight from CLT to PBI is booked. Worst case I drive home in a one way rental (or even worse, I guess, I don't make it in the Vsport).

Checklist for the drive home on Saturday:

SD card with MP3s
OBD-II Scanner
Snacks
Water
Camera (maybe)
Change of clothes
Toothbrush
License Plate
Check
Insurance Information

The last two items are for the event that something goes wrong and I don't make it back on the same day (delayed flight, mechanical issue, etc)

I wish I could go. Those trips are so much better with a co-pilot. Just watch the crumbs on the Kona leather.

Me too. You can get to PBI pretty cheaply from PVD ($141), but getting back might be expensive. There is an $89 flight from RDU to PVD on Frontier on Sunday.

Funny story regarding the SS: My German boss who is not a car guy at all started chatting with me about cars today (probably because I drove the Elise to work). He mentioned the SS and how he read an article in The Wall Street Journal about it. Unfortunately the article is behind their paywall (it was from 2016). Anyway, he brought it up when we were talking about cars that are not depreciating (the Elise, air cooled 911s). He seemed to have a favorable impression of the SS other than the fuel economy.

Putting this here for future reference: https://www.gmpartshouse.com/radio-upgr ... arent=1083

Not cheap, but seems like a good solution overall.
