Finally found an air suspension, 2-spd transfer case, adaptive cruise unit in CT: - 184k mi, $11k
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/it ... 112l%22%7D
High-end on mileage, but also low-ish on price...
I think I like this one better - lower mileage and cleaner I think, no adaptive cruise, 144k mi, $11k:

Re: Paonessa Jeep WK2 or Wrangler
I really want white or silver, this one has RV base plates already installed - 138k mi, $12.5k:

No adaptive cruise.
I emailed about it asking if it still had an "invisible" brake unit installed.
*Update - no answer on the brake unit. out-the-door price of $14k.

Re: Paonessa Jeep WK2 or Wrangler
This one is promising - V8, air suspension, adaptive cruise, 2-spd xfer case. $15k, 104k mi. Only downside is that it is in Michigan (rust).

Middletown, PA - $13k, 143k mi:

Dealer site:

I think this is sort of the most promising. Only "runner-up" would the $14k GA unit with tow baseplates.
One owner carfax - I don't think it could be any cleaner a Carfax...

Re: Paonessa Jeep WK2 or Wrangler
PA one seems nice. Vehicle looks clean. Matching Michelins is certainly a good sign. One owner. I guess go for it? Offering under asking remotely is going to be a difficult operation though.
Re: Paonessa Jeep WK2 or Wrangler
Agreed to purchase the PA one on Friday 4/19/24 for $12,990 all-in w/ dealer fee and 60 day temp registration at $13,345.47.
They took a $500 credit card deposit, balance due at pickup.
Haven't seen it yet - planning on getting it Friday 4/26/24.

Re: Paonessa Jeep WK2 or Wrangler
Finally (and I mean finally - I was really surprised it took this long) - received the title for the Jeep from PA yesterday, 6/3 via Fedex. I thought it was going to made out to me, but it wasn't. It was made out to Pine Manor Auto, LLC. So they don't request a title from MD unless/until someone purchase the Jeep? That's weird. Maybe it has something to do with their dealer financing situation. Maybe they have some third party financially backing them? Anyway - it was dated 5/21/24 and made out to them. Then "notarized" that I signed accepting/buying it. Now, because of CT's stupid appointment-only DMV policies in the post-COVID world, I was only able to get a an appointment for 6/13. Fortunately the 60-day-temp is good until 6/24, so I'm all set, but if I hadn't already done the emissions test/VIN verification or if there's some other problem I would be very worried about it expiring.
So - 4/26 purchase took to 5/21 for title issuing, and then 6/3-6/13 for CT DMV scheduling. That's painful if I didn't have the 60 day temp and/or if I wasn't able to get the time off or was on vacation or something. Dumb gov't processes.
I also don't understand why CT won't just let me register online and mail in the title - I'm planning on rolling over my old WJ plates anyhow so I don't need anything from them.
