2004 G3500 Electrical Gremlins

You should know what this is. If not, you probably roll your windows down a lot.

Fiddling with the switch last night, it seems like a significant bump will likely result in the engine cutting out. I even managed to somehow get it to start coughing and puking in the driveway just by gently wiggling the key in run. I need a new switch either way since I now don't trust it - if after replacement I still have an ABS/HVAC gremlin, then I'll definitely keep troubleshooting.

Kinda neat reading the Amazon reviews for this now unavailable PN:

I think there were 3 cases of ABS light/blower failure :-).

So I think I'm down to the Rostra or a Standard Motor Products switch. Price difference is irrelevant ($5?), and so is warranty since the lifetime Dorman sucked at the 10 month mark (I bought it Oct '23, and could be Amazon counterfit crap, but the box looked legit, so I'm thinking it's just crappy Dorman quality or material selection).

So, Rostra 630005 or Standard US331...

So far with about 4 drive cycles total the key switch (Standard from RockAuto) seems to have done the trick.
