6 years later and it needs a set of these:
Weber Replacement Flavorizer Bars, 17.5", for Genesis 300 series (front-mounted control panel), Porcelain-Enameled Steel https://a.co/d/6aSbO8b

One rusted in half. First part of any kind this grill has required.

Fwiw I don't have a cover for this grill so it is exposed 24/7. I also don't think covering them is a good idea. They are already covered....and can breathe.

Fabulous. That is the wrong part. It's slightly too long and some other geometry is not a match. These seem to be for the original Genesis. Or actually I'm not even sure because it says Genesis below....anyway, I have the Genesis II.

Finally.

These are stainless whereas the original was that porcelain coated stuff. Maybe this is better but I doubt it's 316.

Yeah they are magnetic so must be 400 series.

Maybe even 409 which is the only 400 series I've ever known really.
