I decided to do this because I perceived that there was a mild clunking from the front end in certain conditions. I bought OEM links from the dealer. Something like $110 for the pair.
The TL;DR is I don't think anything was wrong with the links I removed and I'm not sure the new ones changed anything so I'll keep the old ones. I guess I didn't take any pics. Easy job. Pull front wheel, the links are right there. Hold back the stud with a torx bit and the nut is 18mm. 72 lb-ft. About as easy as it gets. 100,3xx miles I think.
2014 E63S: front stabilizer links
Re: 2014 E63S: front stabilizer links
So....after replacing the struts and all strut components other than the springs, there is still something loose up there. Maybe this is a Mercedes thing but the bushings on both this E63 and my S550 are vulcanized to the bar and integrated, not replaceable separately.
I suspect the price will be outrageous but I am suspicious of the front anti-roll bar bushings. I did pull on the bar while the links were disconnected while doing the struts and I didn't feel anything clunking around but maybe I should have looked more closely. I really would have to raise the car up and disconnect one end link and really try to shake the bar and test the bushings before I go after this next.
The good news is if I decide to go after this, it looks very easy unlike multiple previous GM products such as Jamie's old Malibu (replaced the bar due to rusting) and STS (replaced the bushings).
That step 4 does not apply to 4Matic cars. I have a 212.076.

Not expensive at all. For the whole bar.

27mm. However the cross applicability list is a real head scratcher.
The rear is 22mm and has the same list.
Something like 2006 E350 through 2018 CLS63S. And some stuff in between. I don't know if I'm more surprised that it is shared with perhaps some optional suspension on a non-AMG, or that it crosses back to the facelift W211. Wild.

These do look kind of spanked. I will order a new bar.
