Looks like my 111k service is stacking up like this:
- Oil and filter change. Switching to Pennzoil Euro 5W-40 from 0W-40 due to unavailability of the 0W-40. Even the 5W-40 I had to get from eBay so I may switch off Pennzoil entirely and find something suitable next time.
- Engine air filters. I don't know what the interval is but 32k seems good. Haven't even looked at them. Bought Mann from Rockauto which hopefully is OEM. Dealer only has the crappy discount Starparts line, for way more money.
- Air compressor and relay
- Brake fluid flush. Believe it has been over 2 years. So this is overdue.
- Tire cross-rotation, as usual
- Wipers
- Cabin air filters

I will inspect and made dedicated threads as appropriate. I intended to do some of this today but then realized the air compressor sounds bad. So I'll order more things and postpone until next weekend.

Done. And service system reset.

Done. There was definitely some debris in there.

Done. Snapped off the end of one of the 5mm studs on the air compressor bracket, because I didn't clean the junk off the threads. Air compressor was original with a 2006 production date (and still worked). Ended up buying a new nut and then trimming down one of the tubes that makes up the air compressor isolation system. I was able to use the remainder of the threads. Otherwise I think I'd need a new air compressor bracket, or figure out how to press out the stud. I also need to return the core for $78. The new one does seem quieter.

Replacing the relay also turned into a fiasco because one of the screws that holds the front SAM on finally stripped. I have had issues with it the two times I touched it and I guess the allen head finally stripped. Ended up using a female bolt extractor and got it unthreaded. Adam chased the threads with a tap and cleaned up the bolt with a die. Then I ground a slot in the head and simply tightened it with a flat head screwdriver, which worked very well.

Oh, I ran some leak testing with DAS and everything passed with the pump and pressure tank, so that gives me some confidence that I did everything right.

Done. Used a full liter. Bleeds from right rear, to left rear, to left front to right front.

Didn't break any lug bolts but many of the rears required significant impacting to loosen. I do think I need to replace the rest of them because the anti-corrosion coating is just gone and they are probably just rusting in place each time. Instead I just applied a very light coating of anti-seize on the lug bolt threads and torqued them normally.

Done
kevm14 wrote: Sat Sep 13, 2025 7:47 am - Cabin air filters
I'll do this tomorrow. Edit: done. Stuff in there.

Everything looked good. Added a couple ounces of coolant so that issue is still happening I guess. Otherwise, I found nothing wrong with anything.

Also did a full scan just to see what popped up.

I see the stored rear wheel speed sensor stuff. I'm still waiting for something to fail more permanently.
The left rear TPMS has a stored code. That is new. Maybe the battery is finally getting weak.
Coolant and washer fluid stored codes for low level. And the upper control panel stuff is from when I installed the Android Auto module and tested it with that panel disconnected. It's the HVAC buttons and clock.
Trunk lamp is from when I pulled the trunk lining out chasing the Linguatronic module.
The only current code is for the dead pass door mirror heater, which has been like this the entire time I've had the car. I should pop some new glass in there and hopefully solve that.

I reset everything after this scan but did not rescan. Some of these modules (or all of them?) have a very long memory and I feel like a global erase can be different than going into the module and erasing everything.
